Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport. Receiving you our representative will take you to the hotel booked for you in advance. Take your hotel. Relax. If you will arrive in the morning, we will arrange a half-day sightseeing tour in Delhi. In case your arrival time is evening then you only enjoy Light and Sound Show at Red Fort.
Mughal Caravan representative will take you to a legendary restaurant of Delhi for dinner. Overnight stay at Delhi hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
On the second day of Golden Triangle tour India you tour Delhi, the capital city of India. After breakfast, you have to get ready for full day sightseeing tour.
First you will explore New Delhi. Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Explore India Gate, the Arch Memorial of World War I. Visit the Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Akshardham temple, Birla Temple, Lotus Temple, Iskon Temple, etc.
After lunch you tour Old Delhi. Explore the giant Red Fort built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Visit Jama Masjid and Chandi Chowk market. Pay tribute to the Father of Nation at his Raj Ghat Memorial. Evening you can go on a shopping spree. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur (250 kms)
After breakfast you will be taken to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan.
Upon arrival our representative will accommodate you at a hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Evening just have a look of the pink city. Walk past the roads. After a fine dinner, stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast you tour Amber Fort, one of the majestic forts of Rajasthan. It is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur city. Take an elephant ride to the top of the fort. Explore the fort and its scenic ambience. Then you visit Jal Mahal located in middle of a lake at the scenic backdrop of Aravali Hills.
Return back to the city. Have your lunch. Then visit City Palace and its Museum, Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, and Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory. You can shop at the markets of Jaipur.
Mughal Caravan representative will take you to an ethnic restaurant Choki Dhani. Enjoy dance and music. Dine here. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Jaipur - Agra (250 kms)
Leave the hotel after breakfast. Then head towards Agra. On the way you visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of Mughal emperor Akbar. The monuments will tell you a rich saga of past.
Upon arrival at Agra, take your hotel. Have lunch.
Then your Agra sightseeing will begin. First visit Agra Fort and the It-mad-Daula's Tomb. At the sunset time explore the marvelous Taj. The white marble architecture will wonder your eyes. Evening enjoy dining at an Agra restaurant. Savor a dish of Mughalai cuisine.
Day 06: Agra - Delhi (204 kms)
If you want you can again explore Taj at dawn. Sunrise beauty of Taj is wonderful. After breakfast you have to start your drive to Delhi. On the way explore Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. Reaching Delhi, take your hotel.
Evening you can enjoy on your own. You can enjoy a movie at a multiplex, or just hang out at any place you like.After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 07 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh (Delhi to Haridwar-214 kms)
On the 7th day of your Golden triangle tour itinerary you will head towards Rishikesh via Haridwar, the Gateway to God. Rishikesh is 20 kms away from Haridwar. At Haridwar you will explore the temples located on the bank of River Ganga. Haridwar is a holy pilgrimage site for Hindus.
Reaching Rishikesh, take your hotel. Overnight stay.
Rishikesh is a Hindu pilgrimage site which draws millions of tourists throughout the year. It is known as the world capital of Yoga for its various yoga centers and ashrams. The Char Dham Hindu pilgrimage journey starts from here. The natural beauty of Rishikesh is also wonderful as it is located on the bank of River Ganga and Ganga flows down from Himalayas here.
Day 08 : Rishikesh
Early morning wake up. Go for a morning walk. Enjoy the scenic hills and greeneries. Our representative will take you to a yoga center. Attend yoga classes.
Visit the temples of Rishikesh and explore the Ram and Laxman Jhulla Bridge. In the Evening visit the Ghats to see evening Aarti. Lamps floating on the river seem to be a mystic aura to the eyes. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 09 : Rishikesh
Early morning devotes offer prayer to Ganga Maya at Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy Rivers--the Ganges, the Yamuna and the Saraswathy. It is a sacred spot and pilgrims visit this to take a holy bath. It is of belief that if one takes a dip in Triveni Ghat he or she will have salvation.
Take a holy dip at Triveni Ghat to get rid of the Circle of Life and Death. Then attend yoga class. Learn the yoga postures from the expert yoga gurus. Visit the Vashisth Goofa, once the meditation abode of sage Vashisth.
Return to the resort. Attend evening yoga and meditation class. Overnight stay.
NB: Rishikesh is an ideal spot for river rafting. If you can manage your time you can experience river rafting on the River Ganga.
Day 10: Rishikesh - Delhi Departure
Early morning drive back to Delhi. Our representative will transfer you to the airport. Fly back with memorabilia of the tour.
