Day 01: Arrival in Delhi This Golden Triangle Tour has been designed meticulously with an eye on everything. When you step out of the flight at Delhi International Airport you feel our warm hospitality. Mughal Caravan's Representative will welcome you in a traditional Indian style. Escort to the hotel.
On arrival, check in and then have your own choice. If you need any thing, tell our representative. In the evening just enjoy a drive to explore the changing facets of Delhi. If you are a first timer to India you feel the jovial spirit of India. Then a special dinner will be served to you. Have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
On the second day of Golden Triangle tour package, you enjoy a full day sightseeing in Delhi . New Delhi has been designed by Lord Lutyen when the capital of British India was shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. So, New Delhi is called Lord Lutyen's Delhi. Apart from the colonial monuments you will see here old heritage monuments built by the rulers. The sightseeing attractions of New Delhi are Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus temple, Akshardham temple, etc. Have a clear the 4th century Iron Pillar in the Humayun's Tomb complex.
Our representative will take you for lunch. Then tour Old Delhi which houses the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort and Chandi Chowk.
Then you will be taken for you shopping tour . Tell our shopping guide what you want to buy in Delhi. You can buy here Indian paintings, handicrafts jewelry, rugs, jaalis, carpets and durries, etc. If you want to buy ethnic home decors made by the village artisans you can buy it also. Then have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 03: Delhi-Agra (204 kilometers)
Drive to Agra , the home of Taj Mahal. You will not be bored at all as you can explore the Indian countryside on the way drive. Before reaching Agra wait for a while at Sikandra to explore the Tomb of Emperor Akbar.
Uopn arrival, take the hotel. Then go on a drive to have a bird's eye view of the city. If you want you can pass your leisure time at the hotel. After a Mughlai dining, stay overnight.
Day 04: Agra Sightseeing
It takes a full day to explore Agra city. Today in early morning you will explore Taj Mahal, the Monument of Love which is a real mystery. The white marble architecture and the intricate carvings are the main things from the architecture point of view. If you come alone to explore Taj you miss your loved one for sure. It is the monument of love.
After breakfast, proceed to the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb (a specimen of marble inlay of work). Visit the Agra Fort which houses the palaces and halls of the Mughal capital. The Mughal kings led a lavish life and they were patron of art and music. In Agra Fort you feel the richness of the capital and the peculiar Mughal architecture.
After lunch, your Agra shopping tour will start. After seeing Taj you might have more fascination to Taj. Most people want to keep Taj at home as a symbol of peace and love. You can buy a mini marble made Taj Mahal. Agra also has leatherwear and other handicrafts. If you have penchant for antique things you can buy the Mughal antiques also.
Day 05: Agra-Jaipur (240 km- 4 hours)
Your Golden Triangle Tour package will take you to Jaipur , the pink city of Indian state Rajasthan. Enroute tour Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site which was erstwhile the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. All the tombs and palaces are masterpieces of Mughal architecture.
Jaipur is once the capital of Sawai Man Singh II who shifted the capital from Amer to Jaipur. This is the first planned city of India designed by an architect. The main attractions are the Rajput forts and palaces, but you will discover an enchanting charm in the pink city. In Delhi and Agra you mostly explore the monuments of Delhi Sultanate and Mughals. In Jaipur you will explore the monuments of Rajput kingdom, the largest Hindu kingdom. Day 06: Jaipur Sightseeing
The whole day itinerary of Golden Triangle Royal India tour is devoted to sightseeing in Jaipur . Your sightseeing include Amber Fort visit, Elephant ride to Amber Fort, camel ride in Jal mahal, exploration of the majestic City Palace and its museum, the palace wind Hawa Mahal and the Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory.
In the evening you will be taken to an ethnic restaurant for dinner. Enjoy the cultural programmes and have dinner. Return back and stay overnight.
Day 07: Jaipur-Delhi-Departure
After breakfast, you will be taken back to Delhi. On arrival our representative will transfer you timely to the airport. Fly back home with memorabilia of the Golden Triangle India Tour .
